Which optic package on the TenPoint TX Ultra 26.5 fits your hunting style best?

Your choice comes down to whether you prefer automated distance calculation or a traditional calibrated reticle. The TenPoint Vision HD 3-12x Digital Rangefinding Scope and the Burris Oracle X Rangefinding Scope provide push-button range acquisition directly in your field of view. If you prefer manual holdovers without battery management, the 100-Yard RangeMaster Scope gives you fixed aim points calibrated out to 100 yards. Match your optic to whether your shot process in tight cover benefits from digital readouts or a simplified glass reticle.

How does the ACUslide MAXX system handle de-cocking in tight hunting blinds?

The ACUslide MAXX cocking and de-cocking system allows you to silently back down the bowstring without firing an arrow into a discharge target. In cramped ground blinds or tree stands where movement is restricted, this mechanism maintains controlled tension throughout the entire cranking cycle. If your hand leaves the handle during operation, the internal braking prevents free-wheeling to protect your hands and surrounding equipment. Check your blind window clearance to ensure comfortable crank rotation before your hunt begins.

Does the ultra-compact 26.5-inch forward draw frame maintain balance at 410 FPS?

TenPoint lists this setup as their shortest forward draw crossbow ever, generating 410 FPS from a 26.5-inch overall footprint. The forward draw design brings the limb and cam assembly closer to your center of gravity, which prevents front-heavy dipping during offhand shots. Because shorter crossbow frames respond rapidly to slight shoulder movements, verifying steady cheek weld and shoulder position will help keep arrow grouping consistent downrange.

What camo and color finishes are available on the TenPoint TX Ultra 26.5?

The TX Ultra 26.5 platform comes in either Vektra or Moss Green finishes depending on the optic configuration you choose. The Vektra finish is paired with the TenPoint Vision HD, the Burris Oracle X, and the 100-Yard RangeMaster scope models. The Moss Green finish is available specifically with the 100-Yard RangeMaster scope configuration. Confirm exact pattern availability with your retailer as you prepare for when bow hunting season starts in 2026.

Does the TenPoint TX Ultra 26.5 feature an ambidextrous safety?

Yes, an ambidextrous safety is explicitly equipped on the 100-Yard RangeMaster configurations. This setup allows both left-handed and right-handed shooters to toggle the safety without shifting their shooting grip inside a cramped blind. For setups featuring the TenPoint Vision HD or Burris Oracle X scopes, verify the specific trigger housing and safety controls in the manufacturer manual before heading afield ahead of when bow season ends in 2026.

How do you verify target distance with the 100-Yard RangeMaster Scope?

The 100-Yard RangeMaster Scope relies on calibrated reticle lines corresponding to specific drop markers out to 100 yards rather than an automated sensor. Unlike digital optics that range targets at the touch of a button, this scope requires you to determine distance manually before picking your crosshair line. Measure nearby trail intersections or clearings with a handheld rangefinder beforehand to align your aiming point with incoming game.
