Does this magazine specifically fit the Umarex XBG?

Yes. The factory-style 19-shot stick magazine is compatible directly with the Umarex XBG .177 caliber BB air pistol. It also fits shared frames from the same manufacturer family, including the Beretta Elite II, TDP 45, TAC, and Smith & Wesson M&P 40. Always confirm the product listing explicitly names the Umarex XBG before buying to avoid purchasing a magazine with the wrong latch placement.

What caliber and ammunition type does the Umarex XBG magazine use?

The Umarex XBG magazine uses .177 caliber steel BBs exclusively. It is not compatible with 6mm plastic airsoft BBs or .177 caliber lead pellets. Loading lead pellets or plastic rounds into this slim stick magazine will jam the feed channel and stop your CO2 BB gun from cycling properly.

How many BBs does an authentic Umarex XBG magazine hold?

The magazine holds 19 steel BBs in a single vertical column. While other pistol stick clips look almost identical online, capacity differences usually indicate entirely different dimensions. For example, the Walther CP99 Compact magazine holds 18 shots and the Glock 19 Gen3 magazine holds 15 rounds, meaning neither will lock into an XBG grip.

Which other air pistols share the same magazine as the Umarex XBG?

The standard 19-shot .177 BB magazine shares cross-compatibility with four other models: the Beretta Elite II, the Umarex TDP 45, the TAC, and the Smith & Wesson M&P 40. If you own any of these air pistols alongside your XBG, you can swap the same 19-round stick magazines between them without feeding issues.

Can I use rotary pellet magazines or air rifle clips in the Umarex XBG?

No. The Umarex XBG requires a slim stick magazine and cannot use rotary pellet wheels like the Benjamin RC7710 or the Umarex Fusion 2 magazine. Those rotary clips are engineered for target and hunting rifles, including a multi-shot or tactical air rifle, and they cannot fit into the compact handle of a BB pistol.

How can I avoid accidentally purchasing an airsoft magazine for the XBG?

Check the caliber rating and round dimensions on the packaging. Airsoft magazines, such as 6mm Glock 19X or spring sniper magazines, are molded for larger 6mm plastic spheres and will not fit the narrow internal feed port of the XBG. A genuine Umarex XBG replacement will always state .177 caliber steel BB use and a 19-shot capacity.
